just now i read shadow's "what's missing in our education?" and i have something to say and discuss with you allo(∩_∩)o...
1 do you think that the western education is better than our asian education? how do you know? what's the differences?
2 do you think that interest is very important for one's study and work? would you choose a major or job that is we say "practical" but not fit to your interest?
3 how can we improve our english teaching nowadays in big cities and country side? what do you think of the trend to learn english all over the world? as i know, there're thousands of english summer camps during summer vacation, most of them are very expensive.
4 do you think that what you have learnt from the class is very useful? why or why not?
if we can discuss the above question together, i think it's a good way to understand and answer "what's missing in our education" especially english education, what's your opinion?

In terms of its practicality, I think western education provide the most ideal choices and opportunities; however if we look at sustainability of the whole humen being, the education in eastern countries avails more.
