Teaching Reading
Reading in a second language is challenging to young learners and teaching them to do so involves an even more complex process.
This Teaching Reading workshop aims at introducing to teachers the interactive approach of reading so that teachers can help their students to develop reading skills.
This workshop is held in ten different Chinese cities: Hong Kong, Foshan, Xiamen, Hefei, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi’an, Tianjin and Beijing from 17 October to 22 October in 2009.
The workshop trainer works with teachers of English in Hong Kong to see how the interactive approach of reading can be practised in the classroom.
