This session will demonstrate several Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) techniques and show how teachers can adapt these to the reforms in the English curriculum in Hong Kong. CLIL has methodologies and techniques which can be relevant and interesting to all English teachers across China.
Chris Baldwin is a teacher and teacher trainer who has worked in Europe and Hong Kong. He has managed several CLIL projects in secondary schools in Italy and has also published several articles in English teaching magazines. He holds a Master’s degree in English language teaching from Aston University, UK.
