Mainland China ELT Network

 

The Mainland ELT teacher's network centres around four main areas - Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Chongqing. We provide events as well as co hosting training programs for teachers and extending our work in specialised projects in English

We have different teacher training projects around the country as part of the Mainland Teachers' Network

As well as our current Teacher Training Summer Roadshow Project, we are now developing long term teacher training projects in Beijing, Liaoning and Hubei to promote English teaching in North China primary schools and secondary schools.

For teachers of primary and secondary schools in East China, a good chance to improve their English language ability and teaching skills is the Shanghai English Teaching Improvement Project (SETIP) and the Jiangsu English Language Improvement Project (JETIP).

In Southwest China, we are undertaking Chongqing Primary English Language Teacher Training, a three-year project for training the ELT trainers and key teachers in Chongqing.

English teachers in Guangdong can join the Guangdong Primary English Teacher Training Project to receive professional training.
