Introduction to Popular Culture in the Senior Secondary English language learning classroom

This workshop introduces teachers to key concepts in popular culture, and looks at the textual features of pop culture texts including photo captions, comic strips, advertisements, columns and reviews.

Teachers will take one text-type and use it as material to work through English language learning activities appropriate for students aged 15-18.
