This website actually does help us to improve our communication. Isn't it a wonderful stage for everybody to make more friends and get to know more about each other here? communication by definition is not just about language. It's largely about exchanging ideas and attitude of life so language is just the medium for achieving this. Having said that, language is definitely important to achive communication.

In English teaching, there is also a discussion about whether teachers should focus on teaching grammar (grammatically correct) or teaching communication (regardless of English grammatical mistakes) or to mix both.

I agree that communication does not deal with langauge only, but language ability does play a role in having a good communciation. As an English learner myself, I stick to practice to try to improve my English communication skills. Also I enjoy watching English TV sitcoms and dramas to see how people say things to one another.
