As is usual, China's largest scale of exam kicks off throughout the whole country during these three days- college entrance examination. On account of its significance to student's career future and its relatively fairness, people from all walks of life pay grave heed to its process.
Basically, different provinces adopt their distinctive styles of questions. Seeing that, the scoring criteria thus vary in accordance with requirements from different schools. Due to its openness and fairness in choosing competent candidates, every student is highly expected to strive for a good mark for a better future.
As a tradition, this morning I got up early to pry into the whole process of the matriculation exam. Because my house was within the vicinity to an accredited high school for entrance exam, the area today was justifiably cordoned off against any possible noise. Policemen enthusiastically took up their busy duty to divert all the coming cars to other roads. And the exam candidates arrived at the exam locations almost one hour earlier than expected to make a good preparation. As for teachers, they were not exempt from this grave occasion. I could see teachers from various schools travelled afar to the appointed exam site with an aim to boost the morale for the students. Every exam-takers would be met with a give-me-five greeting and encouraging remarks from their teachers at the school gate.
Along with the bell tolling, parents settled themselves down under the roof by the roadside to wait for the end of today's exams. Luckily enough, today's weather was favourable for both students and parents alike. Thus, parents did not discomposure themselves merely to find shelter when the sudden downpour comes about.
All those scenes reminded me of what I experienced four years ago. Recollecting from the moment I took the exam, I seemed to fail to live up to the expectations about college life. Could you tell me your feelings the very day you took the college entrance exams?

On that day, I was extraordinary peaceful, for I took the exam quite serious and prepared it fairly well. There was no nervous. In the morning, I could see my teachers standing in front of my school gate and encouraging us. Peaceful, from the beginning till the end. While, after the exam, the feeling of being disappointed came to me and a lot of my friends, eventually.
