It has been four years since I went to England for a twelve-week training course. I still can clearly remembered the first day when we arrived at Healthrew Airport. It was exciting for us but also something unpleasant happened. One of our teammates couldn't find his luggage, in which all his living necessities and some valuable articles were in the luggage case. It never occurred to us that such would happen on the first day. So I remind everyone who will go abroad or anywhere else should keep your properties at hand. It was just a kind reminder.
When we got on the bus and went to our destination--Plymouth, it was really a nice journey. All the scenery outside the window was so beartiful that we took pictures continually.
In a word, the first day in England left a complex feeling on me.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems at Heathrow airport, but I'm afraid it's not uncommon - my bags have been lost a few times. Did you hear about the problems when the new Terminal 5 opened recently? Well, tens of thousands of passengers arrived at their destinations before their luggage - the result was that T5 was closed and will reopen again in June - British Airways ...ooops!
