It should have been a good idea but it is not as simple as that for the parental involvement is hardly an established part of the typical Chinese education. It is OK with the parents learning at home, but it is impossinle in the classrooms. And due to the generation gap, I find it rather difficult for the parents to get involved in their children's learning. Many of my students told me their parents have no understanding of their problems, let alone help them in study. The picture above looks really cheerful and I wish it was the way it should be.
