In my blog I'd like to find a new word each day and write about it, that way I think it will help me to increase my vocabulary.
My word today is...scam (I saw it in the headline of a newspaper.)
A scam is a crime, particularly a crime involving trickery to raise money.
Here is an example:
"Hong Kong is at the center of a scam channeling counterfeit drugs from the mainland abroad, according to an industry insider."

"talent scout" is kind of person who is always looking for talented people for a film or TV play. Can you guess the meaning of it? I think it is so simple. I usually take notes of some useful words. Hope it works.
