Workshops given by Levi Tafari, took place at Fudan Middle school, Shanghai British College and Shanghai Urban Planning Centre respectively on 17 September and 18 September.

About 300 students and over 100 teachers attended the workshops. The workshops were well received, two of the participants commented “It is amazing. Levi taught us a creative way to study and use English.” “How can we keep in touch with Levi? Where can we buy his books?”

The participants hoped that Levi could come back to Shanghai to give more performances on how to study English creatively in the near future.

Levi commented after his Shanghai visit:

"I don't know if you know this fact, but Liverpool has the oldest Chinese community in Europe. The other fact that you may not know is that Liverpool is twinned with Shanghai, and I can see now why it is - as it is really a city with history and culture.

I had a great time in Shanghai, that's not to say that Chongqing and Beijing weren't great, but Shanghai was BOOM! a great place to kick back and relax at the weekend.“
