The weather is changing. Winter is coming. I'm thinking about snowboarding again. Last year I went to Nanshan near Beijing (small, busy and full of people trying to crash into me!) and Wanlong in Hebei (far from Beijing, but good for a whole weekend).
Does anyone have any good suggestions for new places to go? I hear it will be a cold winter in the North, so I'm getting the go-faster wax ready now!

Brian, if I was you I'd jump on a plane and head over to Korea. Last weekend I went boarding in Yong Pyung. It's the best of the Korean resorts with enough runs to keep you busy for a few days, including half pipe and snow park. Some really nice places to stay near there - I stayed in a log cabin. Food is great too!

Have you ever thought of having a wonderful holiday somewhere in the south? I was just back from Kunming. I like the sunshine there, warm and energetic. Forest is studing English with you interactively and creatively.

OK It's December. The snow is here. Last weekend, I went to Wanlong in Hebei province. Still haven't forgotten how to do it!Still, I think, the best place around Beijing. We also had a look at the new Dolomiti resort. I think it might be good in a few years, but for now, there is only one big lift and three ways down. Not as varied as Wanlong, but a bit of a change. Good pizzas, I suppose!! See you on the slopes..........
