I remember my international teacher used candy bar as a reward. I have never used candy. But I did use pencils. However, it did not work much.

as a teacher ,I'll try my best to tell them what I know .I think this is the best rewards. After all, they study for themselves. Sometimes too many candies will be harmful .

I think rewards are important for students, but not candy! I think you can reward students with a fun game at the end of the lesson or you can praise them highly.
